Greetings on this Baptism of the Lord Sunday.

  • 8:30 am – Holy Communion-BCP
  • 10:00 am – Holy Eucharist-BAS - Sunday School - Invite the children

Greetings and blessings sisters and brothers in Christ.  Rev'd John would like you to turn to the Gospel of Matthew 3: 13-17.  This passage in which Jesus is baptized by John in the River Jordan marks the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry.  What does this watershed moment in the Gospel tell us about Jesus' humanity and divinity?  And what does it tell us about our own baptism?

To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary.  https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/ (You might have to select the correct Sunday).
