Greetings sisters and brothers in Christ;
As we stand on the cusp of a new year, we can look back at 2025 and reflect. And as we look forward, we realize that we have a lot of work to do, and this is exciting. The new year will be filled with challenges and possibilities.
With this in mind, I thought about the passage from Hebrews 12: 1
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us."
There is such energy and enthusiasm in this passage. It fills me with hope.
This afternoon I will lace up my brand new running shoes and jump on our treadmill, and I will run with perseverance the race that is set before me.
And I will pray for each and every one of you.
That you continue to find hope, peace, joy and love scattered in the landscape of your lives.
