Coffee Hour Hosts
There will be no Coffee/Fellowship hour this Sunday due to Mother's Day. Sign up sheet for coffee hour is on the bulletin board across from the office. Please sign up for the rest of May and June. We are currently in need of people to host coffee hour. If you can help with this Ministry, please sign up on the sheet. Thank you to all who host the coffee and fellowship hours throughout the year. It is appreciated.
Wednesday Holy Communion Service and Let's Talk About Grief on Wednesday, May 13th at 10:00 am. There will be no Wednesday Services or Grief Sessions for July or August. The last day till September will be Wednesday, June 24th.
Sunday School – This is postponed now until November. More information to follow. The Teachers are looking for extra helpers to be there for an extra person. Please call Joy Kemble or the office. Thank you for your consideration.

The Giving Tree
For the month of May, we will be celebrating all mothers and mother figures in our lives past and present. Place a photocopied photo of all the Moms in our lives. Please be sure not to use original photos as they will not be returned. We will also be collecting supplies to help our church. Suggestions may be: Kleenex, Paper Towels, Pine-Sol, Windex, Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Vim Bathroom Cleaner, 8 1/2 x 11 Copy White Paper. Thank you! Joy

Upcoming Events
Cash/Gift Cards (Orders due First Friday of the Month) - Friday, June 5th.
Please submit your orders to Vicki V. or to the Church Office Mail Box by 11:30 am on the scheduled Friday. You receive the full value of the card and the Church receives a percentage from the value of cards purchased towards our operating fund.
Please note: Loblaws cards (used at the Real Canadian Superstore and No Frills) is appreciated towards the Little Food Pantry and/or Monday Bag Lunch Program. You purchase the card(s), donate to the church, and the value is added to your yearly contribution on your tax slip. We thank you for your ongoing support.
Pop Can Sundays – (first Sunday of each month) - Sunday, June 7th. Bring your empty aluminum cans in a tied bag (beer cans to be separate) and place them by the McKeough Memorial Fountain before coming into the Sanctuary. Thank you for supporting this project.
Last Spanish Lessons for the summer are Thursday, May 28th at 5:00 pm in the Library.
Men’s Breakfast (3rd Friday of the month). 8:00 am - Friday, May 15th at Hungry Man’s Restaurant, Keil Drive.
Yard Sale, Bake Table, Lunch Room - Saturday, May 9th, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Your participation is needed by donating no longer used articles and coming out for lunch and a fun time! Goodies for the Bake Table can be brought in Friday, May 8th. Plastic bags, newspapers and flats are also needed and can be left at the church. We need volunteers on Tuesday, May 5th to and including Friday, May 8th to help clean and price items in the Library whenever you can come during the day. Please contact the office if you need access outside of office hours. We also need VOLUNTEERS on Saturday, May 9th to be salespeople. Thank you for your generous consideration.
Spring Fling Dance & Games Night - Saturday, May 30 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Come out for a great time! - Finger Food Potluck. Bring your favourite game.
Broasted Chicken Dinner Take Out Only - Friday, June 5th - Tickets are $25.00, 5:00-6:30 pm (Please use door near little pantry across from bus depot to pick up the dinners.) The Meal includes 3 pieces of chicken, potatoes, coleslaw, roll & butter plus dessert! Tickets are available from the Wardens or call the Church Office at (519)352-1640.
Please save your Empty Paper Towel Rolls (please tear off loose pieces of towel to assist with crafts) and Egg Cartons (no toilet paper rolls please) and place them in the container at the back of the church. It would be appreciated that we only accept clean cartons inside without broken eggshells and egg residue. The cartons are used to hold individual paints for crafts. We are no longer collecting margarine and cool whip containers. Thank you for your generosity.
