Greetings on this Fourth Sunday of Easter.

              8:30 am Holy Communion

            10:00 am Holy Eucharist

             Sunday School

This is the last day of Sunday School until the fall. Over the past two years we have had 18 different children join us on various Sundays. Many thanks to Rev. MJ Meinzinger who is retiring from teaching Sunday School for her many contributions to our youth. Sunday School will start again in November with a slightly different format unless we are able to secure additional volunteers. Thanks. Joy K.

The imagery that Jesus uses to describe himself as a shepherd is powerful. Rev. John would like you to prayerfully read the passage from the Gospel of John 10: 1-10. What does this passage tell us about Jesus and about ourselves as disciples of Christ?

To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary. https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/ (You might have to select the correct Sunday).

The Hymns for this Sunday are printed below. Please google to go over ahead of time.

1. Processional Hymn:   God of the Bible

2. Gradual Hymn:              What a Friend We Have in Jesus

3 Offertory Hymn:           Shepherd of Souls, Refresh and Bless

4. Recessional Hymn:     O Jesus, I Have Promised

If you would like to donate an anthem in loving memory of someone or just to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church, please consider it. Thank you for your consideration.
