Greetings on this Twentith Sunday After Pentecost.

  • 8:30 am – Holy Communion - BCP
  • 10:00 am – Holy Eucharist - BAS

Rev’d John invites you to open your Bibles to the Gospel of Luke 18: 9-14.  Jesus unfolds a parable featuring two individuals who are diametrically opposite.  This parable challenges us to decide where we fit into this narrative.  And most importantly, this passage outlines the importance of humility in discipleship.

To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary.  https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/

The Hymns for this Sunday are as follows:  If possible look them up on Google or Youtube and listen to them.

  1. Processional Hymn:             Great Is Thy Faithfulness
  2. Gradual Hymn:                     Come To My Heart
  3. Offertory Hymn:                    Be Thou My Vision
  4. Recessional Hymn:              I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say

If you would like to donate an anthem in loving memory of someone or just to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church, please consider it.  Thank you for your consideration.
