Greetings on this Third Sunday After the Epiphany.

  • 8:30 am – Holy Communion-BCP
  • 10:00 am – Holy Eucharist-BAS - Sunday School - Invite the children

Rev’d John would like you to think back to last week to the Gospel of John where John the Baptist proclaimed Jesus as the Lamb of God.  it is also where Jesus looks at the first two disciples and says "Come and see".  In this week's Gospel passage from Matthew 4: 12-23, the call to discipleship is strikingly different.  Think about what is really meant by casting down our nets and following Jesus.

To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary.  https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/ (You might have to select the correct Sunday).

The Hymns for this Sunday are printed below.  Please google to go over ahead of time.

  1.   Processional Hymn:      Will You Come and Follow Me
  2.   Gradual Hymn:                 God Whose Giving Knows No Ending
  3.   Offertory Hymn:             One Bread, One Body, One Lord of All
  4.   Recessional Hymn:        Go Make a Difference

The Giving Tree

For the month of February, the Giving Tree will focus on paying forward all of the blessings we have in our lives.  Think of ways in your day-to-day life to spread smiles and kindess.  Ideas could be taking the time to compliment a young parent on their parenting skills, dropping offf pasta, sauce, peanut butter or canned goods to Hope Haven, calling a friend, sending a Valentine's Day card, anything that brightens someone's day.  Then take a paper off the tree and share how your acts of kindess was really a gift to you!  Thank you.  Joy

Please be advised that portions of the Worship services are sometimes taped or photographed and placed on our Facebook or Website.  If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please advise a Warden, Rev. John or the Church office.
