Greetings on this, The Reign of Christ Sunday.

  • 8:30 am – Holy Communion-BCP
  • 10:00 am – Holy Eucharist-BAS

In the Gospel passage from Luke 23: 33-44, we are abruptly and unexpectedly jettisoned forward to the foot of the cross at Golgotha.  We come face to face with the crucifixion long before Good Friday.  What does this unsettling passage tell us about discipleship in a most unexpected place?

To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary.  https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/

The Hymns for this Sunday are as follows:  If possible look them up on Google or Youtube and listen to them.

  1. Processional Hymn:         Rejoice the Lord is King
  2. Gradual Hymn:                    Crown Him With Many Crowns
  3. Offertory Hymn:                All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name
  4. Recessional Hymn:           The Church’s One Foundation

If you would like to donate an anthem in loving memory of someone or just to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church, please consider it.  Thank you for your consideration.
