Rev’d John encourages you to read the Gospel passage from Matthew 1: 1-18 in which an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream.  What does this passage tell us about Joseph’s faith and about faith in general?

Coffee Hour Hosts

Our hosts for coffee and fellowship this Sunday will be Rob & Pauline Ralston.

Coffee/Fellowship Hour is in the Library following the 10:00 am Service. Please sign up for January and on through the months for the new year for Coffee Hour to take place.  Thank you to all who host the coffee and fellowship hours throughout the year.  It is appreciated.

 Wednesday Services – Please note for 10:00 am on Dec. 24th and Dec. 31st and the Let’s Talk About Grief are postponed until January 7th at 10:00 and 10:45 respectfully.

 Christmas Eve  Service – December 24th  - 7:00 pm

Greetings and blessings sisters and brothers in Christ.  The passage from the Gospel of Luke 2: 1-14 speaks for itself.  It is the story of the Nativity, filled with awe and wonder.  Please read this passage prayerfully before coming to our Christmas Eve Service.  Take your place among the shepherds and the barn animals as we proclaim the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  It is a story that never grows old.  It just gets better each time it is told.

Office Hours:  The Office is open Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm;  Friday, 9:00 am – 11:30 am.

Financial Givings to the Church

The following are ways of giving financially to the Church:

 The Giving Tree

For the month of January, we will continue to collect items to keep those in need in our community warm.  Also please take a paper and write down ideas you have for the focus of the Giving Tree in future months!  Thank you.  Joy

Please be advised that portions of the Worship services are sometimes taped or photographed and placed on our Facebook or Website.  If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please advise a Warden, Rev. John or the Church office.

Cash/Gift Cards (Orders due First Friday of the Month) - Friday, January 9th (one week later this month).

Please submit your orders to Vicki V. or to the Church Office Mail Box by 11:30 am on the scheduled Friday.  You receive full value of the card and the Church receives a percentage from the value of cards purchase towards our operating fund.

Please note: Loblaws cards (used at the Real Canadian Superstore and No Frills) is appreciated towards the Little Food Pantry and/or Monday Bag Lunch Program.  You purchase the card(s), donate to the church, and the value is added to your yearly contribution on your tax slip.  We thank you for your ongoing support.

 Pop Can Sundays – (first Sunday of each month)  -Sunday, January 4th Bring your empty aluminum cans in a tied bag (beer cans to be separate)  and place them by the McKeough Memorial Fountain before coming into the Sanctuary.  Thank you with this project.

 Evening Compline Suspended until further Notice.   

 Spanish Lessons are Suspended until Thursday, January 15th at 5:00.

 Men’s Breakfast (3rd Friday of the month).  8:00 am -  Friday, December 19th  at Hungry Man’s Restaurant, Keil Drive.

 Empty Paper Towel Rolls, Egg Cartons only please being accepted.  We are no longer collecting margarine and cool whip containers.  Please no toilet paper holders.  Thank you for your generosity.  Place at the back of the Church.
