Greetings on this Seventh Sunday of Easter, also Ascension Sunday.
8:30 am – Holy Communion
10:0 am – Holy Eucharist
This week we turn to the Gospel of Luke and read about the ascension of the Risen Christ. Think about the Apostles’ Creed which we confess every Sunday. “On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.” Rev. John would like you to think about the scene in this passage, and what the ascension meant to the disciples and to us as followers of the Risen Christ.

The Giving Tree
For the month of June, the Giving will be celebrating all kinds of Fathers! Place a photocopied photo (no originals please as they will not be returned) on our tree, of a Dad, Grandad or someone you hold dear to your heart like a Dad, to celebrate their life or memory. You can write your name and who the person is on the back but only if you choose.
In addition, take a paper off the tree and write down the best advice you have ever received from your parents…was there a particular story or lesson learned from your parents or parent figures in your life? We will collect the lessons and post them in the hallway for others to benefit from the wisdom bestowed unto you. Let’s celebrate these amazing men in our lives!
Thank you so much for your generous donations to the community through our Giving Tree!
Please be advised that portions of the Worship services are sometimes taped or photographed and placed on our Facebook or Website. If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please advise a Warden, Rev. John or the Church office.
