Greetings on this Nineteenth Sunday After Pentecost
Holy Communion 8:30 am
Holy Eucharist 10:00 am
In this Sunday's Gospel from Matthew 21: 33 - 46, Jesus once again challenges the Pharisees and the temple priest by giving them a parable and then asking them a question afterwards. This is a familiar motif in this section of Matthew's Gospel. What does the parable of the wicked tenants tell us about the world in which we live?
To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary. https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/ (You might have to select the correct Sunday).
If you would like to donate an anthem in loving memory of someone or just to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church, please consider it. Thank you for your consideration.
The Hymns for this Sunday are printed below. Please google to go over ahead of time.

Financial Givings to the Church
The following are ways of giving financially to the Church:
The Giving Tree
For the month of October the Giving Tree will be supporting Outreach For Hunger as so many people who have in the past supported them, now find themselves reaching out for support themselves. So many of our community members are hurting right now. Here is a list of items they need most:
Non-perishables: Apple juice, orange juice, canned fruit, instant coffee, oatmeal, pancake mix, pancake syrup, rice and rice mixes.
Personal Hygiene Products: Deodorants, toothpaste, disposable razors, shaving cream, and toothbrushes.
Baby Products: Diaper cream, shampoo, and baby lotion.
Thank you so much for your very generous and kind support of the Giving Tree and all of the people it supports each month! Joy Kemble
Please be advised that portions of the Worship services are sometimes taped or photographed and placed on our Facebook or Website. If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please advise a Warden, Rev. John or the Church office.
