Greetings on this Easter Sunday.

            8:30 am Holy Communion

             10:00 am Holy Eucharist

There is no  Sunday School on Easter Sunday, and the children are invited to sit with their families throughout the Service.

Rev'd John strongly encourages you to read the Gospel passage from John 20: 1-18 several times.  Resurrection Sunday is a day which is filled with joy, hope, assurance and promise.  What are the details in this passage that you find most intriguing?

To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary.  https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/ (You might have to select the correct Sunday).

The Hymns for this Sunday are printed below.  Please google to go over ahead of time.

  1.    Processional Hymn:            Jesus Christ Is Risen Today
  2.   Gradual Hymn:                        The Day of Resurrection
  3.    Chancel Choir Anthem:      A Call to Hallelujah
  4.   Offertory Hymn:                    That Eastertide With Joy Was Bright
  5.   Recessional Hymn:               Yours Be the Glory, Risen, Conquering Son

The Anthems for Palm Sunday, "A Festive Hosanna", Good Friday, "The Wounded Rose", and Easter Sunday, "A Call to Hallelujah" ;  were lovingly given by Janet Hunter in cherished remembrance of her parents, Sylvia and Duane Dickinson.

If you would like to donate an anthem in loving memory of someone or just to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church, please consider it.  Thank you for your consideration.
