Greetings on this Day of Pentecost.
8:30 am – Holy Communion
10:0 am – Holy Eucharist
The day of Pentecost is upon us, where we celebrate the birth of the church. As you read this Sunday’s Gospel passage from John 14: 8-17, Rev. John would like you to think about the role of the Holy Spirit in your life of faith. And, how would you describe the Holy Spirit to someone who has never been to church or opened a Bible?
To view other readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary. https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/
The Hymns for Pentecost Sunday are as follows: If possible look them up on Google or Youtube and listen to them.
Processional Hymn: Come, O Holy Spirit
Gradual Hymn: On Pentecost They Gathered
Offertory Hymn: Breathe On Me Breath of God
Recessional Hymn: She Comes Sailing On the Wind
Rev‘d John encourages you to wear something bright red, yellow or orange for Pentecost Sunday. Let’s brighten up the sanctuary with colour.

The Giving Tree
For the month of June, the Giving will be celebrating all kinds of Fathers! Place a photocopied photo (no originals please as they will not be returned) on our tree, of a Dad, Grandad or someone you hold dear to your heart like a Dad, to celebrate their life or memory. You can write your name and who the person is on the back but only if you choose.
In addition, take a paper off the tree and write down the best advice you have ever received from your parents…was there a particular story or lesson learned from your parents or parent figures in your life? We will collect the lessons and post them in the hallway for others to benefit from the wisdom bestowed unto you. Let’s celebrate these amazing men in our lives!
Thank you so much for your generous donations to the community through our Giving Tree!
