Greetings on this All Saints' Day
Holy Communion at 8:30 am
Holy Eucharist at 10:00 am
All Saints' Day has its roots in the ancient church. It was intended as a day to remember the Saints, those faithful who were martyred in the roman persecutions. Today it has taken on a broader scope, incorporating traditions from other cultures such as the El Dia De Los Muertos in Latin America. It is a time to think about those that we love but can no longer see. This week's Gospel passage is The Beatitudes found in Matthew 5: 1-12. Rev'd John encourages you to prayerully read this passage to determine what Jesus is saying about us as disciples.
To view readings for this week and the entire year, please use this link to the common lectionary. https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu/ (You might have to select the correct Sunday).
If you would like to donate an anthem in loving memory of someone or just to contribute to the music ministry here at Christ Church, please consider it. Thank you for your consideration.
The Hymns for this Sunday are printed below. Please google to go over ahead of time.

Financial Givings to the Church
The following are ways of giving financially to the Church:
The Giving Tree
For November we are looking for Help! A young boy in our community has been collecting pop tabs for the Children's Treatment Centre for several years and is hoping to donate the thousands of tabs he has collected in November. Please save any pop or beverage pull tabs in a baggie or container and place them under the Giving Tree. I will make sure they get added to his collection to help provide a wheelchair for a child in need.
Also for November & December, we will be collecting hats, gloves, mittens, blankets and scarves to help bring warmth to little and big people in our community. Thank you so much for your very generous and kind support of the Giving Tree and all of the people it supports each month! Joy Kemble
Please be advised that portions of the Worship services are sometimes taped or photographed and placed on our Facebook or Website. If you do not wish to be recorded or photographed, please advise a Warden, Rev. John or the Church office.
