 he month of October the Giving Tree will be supporting Outreach For Hunger
  as so many people who have in the past supported them\, now find themselv
 es reaching out for support themselves.  So many of our community members
  are hurting right now.  Here is a list of items they need most:\nNon-per
 ishables:  Apple juice\, orange juice\, canned fruit\, instant coffee\, o
 atmeal\, pancake mix\, pancake syrup\, rice and rice mixes.\nPersonal Hygi
 ene Products:  Deodorants\, toothpaste\, disposable razors\, shaving crea
 m\, and toothbrushes.\nBaby Products:  Diaper cream\, shampoo\, and baby 
 lotion.\nAlso\, seperately for November\, Looking for Help!  A young boy 
 in our cmmunity has been collecting pop tabs for the Children's Treatment 
 Centre for several years and is hoping to donate the thousands of tabs he 
 has collected in November.  Please save any pop or beverage pull tabs in 
 a baggie or container and place them under the Giving Tree.  I will make 
 sure they get added to his collection to help provide a wheall chair for a
  child in need.\nThank you so much for your very generous and kind support

 eives a percentage from the value of cards purchased towards our operating

  Bag Lunch Program.  You purchase the card(s)\, donate to the church\, an

 in a tied bag (beer cans to be separate).  We are now accepting empty win

 ls Christmas Bazaar - Saturday\, November 28th\, 10 am to 2 pm  \nWe are
  looking for donations of items for our Bazaar.  You could assist by dona
 ting items for our White Elephant table\, providing some of your great bak
 ed goods\, canning / preserves / jellies or jams.  Books are another item
  which can be donated.  Show us your homemade Christmas items (knitting\,
  crocheting\, etc.).  We are also accepting slightly used Christmas decor
 ations.  Items can be brought in to the office and will be stored for the
  Bazaar.  Thank you for your consideration.  \nLunch will be available 
 for purchase on the day of the Bazaar.  Dessert/Beverage $5.00 or Soup/Sa
 ndwich/Dessert/Beverage $10.00.  \nRemembrance Day Vigil - November 10t

 s for this Mexican tradition!  Starting with prayers and music in the san
 ctuary\, a candlelit walk with candles / flashlights.  Bring your favouri
 te Mexican inspired dish to share.  There will be the traditional breakin

 owel Rolls (please tear off loose pieces of towel to assist with crafts) a
 nd Egg Cartons (no toilet paper rolls please).  It would be appreciated 
 that we only accept clean cartons inside without broken eggshells and egg 
 residue.  The cartons are used to hold individual paints for crafts. \nW
 e are in great need of large round margarine and large cool whip container
 s once again and please place them in the container at the back of the chu
 rch.  Your continuation is greatly appreciated and helpful throughout the
